Omg 18 weeks

How quick is the time flying in, loving it well apart from the worry every now and then.

Had scan yesterday - 27th June - and the baby has been checked out all fine - the sonographer, Jamie, even managed to check his wee beating heart and all looks ok too - so absolutely delighted with the news, so no worries for the next scan which is booked for 30th July now - that scan was to check the baby's heart and that it was all ok. so will get another chance to see my gorgeous little one and make sure he's all ok again :) We even asked about the gender of the baby... and the baby is....
A BOY!......
We didn't get to see a potty shot as he was lying upside down however the sonographer is 90% sure is little boy, as we're getting a 22 week scan we can ask for check as well so so happy.
However Neil seems a little disappointed though he was hoping it was baby girl so that when she grows up she can scare the boyfriends lol... its all good though cos at the end of the day - as long as baby is happy and healthy, thats all that matters. We're over the moon! :D now can't wait to start buying bits and pieces for baby... and continue with thinking of a name for baby too.... we do have a name- but I want to make sure we have at least 2 to choose from - mainly cos i dont want people to know the baby's name until baby is born :)
Sooo excited - roll on the next milestone - feeling baby proper kicks!
Love you baby, grow big and strong and can't wait to meet you xx

Exciting times

Its been a while since I posted anything, mainly cos I have been busy with lots of other things apart from crafting! Main thing has been looking after myself and my baby who is growing in my belly :)

So happy to find out I'm pregnant in March 2014, but was soo scared at the same time, original due date was 4th December based on my dates. Was so bad that the doctors decided to give me a viability scan on 2nd May, thankfully they found a heartbeat and the baby was well and they even move my due date forward to 29th November.
Then the next milestone was the dating scan on 21st May - and again everything was well - baby was bouncing around on the scan - was quite still then started to move and turned upside down for us to see... then had to bounce around - on the bed and then empty bladder and jump around in the room to see if baby can move back down so the sonographer can get measurements - so funny - although i dont think the sonographer saw the funny side lol.... but i did say to baby that you can do a somersault for mummy and daddy to see... and baby did! so well happy. The dating scan again move my due to date forward - so its now 28th November!

Check ups at the antenatal clinic been good... my blood glucose been good too so happy with that - they did put me on insulin when i was week 8 but its not as daunting as i thought i was so all good.

The next exciting thing that has happened on 12th June - when i was 15+6, i felt the baby move - not actual movement yet-  but flutters - it was amazing!!! can't wait for baby to kick and that i can feel baby move more distinctively.

16 weeks today - and can't wait for my 18 weeks scan - 2 weeks today!!! get to see baby again. although i will have midwife on Monday - so hopefully midwife will use a doppler to look for baby's heartbeat too - be lovely to hear it :) fingers crossed!!

Baby - cant wait to meet you!! Concentrate on growing big and strong then only about 4.5 months til mummy and daddy can hold you in our arms then watch you grow up and love you lots and lots!! Exciting times xxx
